They will gain the skills to identify hazards that occur in the construction industry and determine appropriate standards, and properly prepare reports when conditions are found. This course is for private-sector workers interested in developing safety and health programs in construction. All participants are required to complete the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.pe.gatech.edu\/courses\/occupational-safety-and-health-standards-construction-industry\u0022\u003EOccupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry\u003C\/a\u003E course prior to registering for the course and have five years of construction safety experience. The course will include techniques in hazard communication, industrial hygiene, ergonomics and recordkeeping. This course is geared towards private-sector personnel that work in any other industry outside of construction.
