Emory University and Georgia Tech are leading two initiatives which provide a model for these types of programs. Both programs share a common objective: fostering partnerships which support communities and residents located on the Westside of Atlanta. The work addresses issues such as access to healthy food, building a strong social support network, and economic stability to create sustainable, healthy communities in this area of the City.
