Best known for his design triolgy of documentaries Helvetica, Objectified, and Urbanized, Hustwit\u0027s new project with Pack documents the condition and uses of Olympic venues in over a dozen cities around the world after the Games have departed.\u0026nbsp;Stark photos reveal unused and abandoned venues in Athens alongside neighborhood use of the high-dive in Barcelona. The Lake Placid, NY olympic village was designed to become a prison\u0026nbsp;and is\u0026nbsp;now occupied as such.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe panel included Noah Chasin, professor of urban design at Columbia and Bard Colleges and Grace La from\u0026nbsp;Field Operations who explained the plans to dismantle all but six of the London 2012 Olympic facilities. Ellen Dunham-Jones noted how\u0026nbsp;many\u0026nbsp;London, Vancouver, and several other Olympic host cities used the Games to expedite improvements to their infrastructure.
