{"147411":{"#nid":"147411","#data":{"type":"news","title":"No Login Required to Access Library eResources on Campus","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Tech faculty and students now have seamless access to the Georgia Tech Library\u2019s eResources.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Library recently decided to extend IP access for subscribed electronic resources to the entire Georgia Tech campus, as opposed to only within Library buildings. Users anywhere on campus now have automatic access to eResources without having to log in.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThis new arrangement is contingent upon responsible use of the Library\u2019s eResources by authorized GT users, which is clearly stated in the Library\u2019s \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.library.gatech.edu\/search\/policy.php\u0022\u003Epolicy for use of online services\u003C\/a\u003E. The Library is partnering with the Office of Information Technology to monitor and ensure compliance.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cWe\u2019re [Library] excited about what this means for the GT community,\u201d said Elizabeth Winter, Electronic Resources Coordinator for the Library. \u201cWe have been working on this all summer, and I\u2019m pleased that we can offer our users easier access to the eJournals, databases, eBooks, electronic conference proceedings, digital libraries, and many other eResources the Library offers.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;Off-campus users will still need to use their GT account to login for proxy access to Library eResources.
