  <title><![CDATA[CERT Training Classes]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Campus Emergency Response Team (CERT) training is a valuable addition to your skills, especially when it comes to being prepared for disasters. &nbsp;Skills taught in CERT include general emergency preparedness, fire safety, light search and rescue, first aid, triage, and disaster psychology. &nbsp;These skills help both at home and in the workplace. &nbsp;Take some time this summer to help make Georgia Tech better prepared to handle emergencies.</p><p><br />The Georgia Tech Police Department Office of Emergency Preparedness will be hosting a CERT class consisting of 6 classroom sessions and a drill on the following Thursdays in June and July. &nbsp;Keep in mind that all classes and the drill must be attended. &nbsp;CERT training is free to attend. &nbsp;As part of training, you will receive a CERT bag with equipment to keep after the drill.</p><ul><li>Location: 811 Marietta St.</li><li>Class time: 9:30 am - 11:30 am</li><li>Required class dates:<br />June 7<br />June 14<br />June 21<br />June 28<br />July 12<br />July 19<br />July 26 (Drill)</li></ul><ul><li>Drill Location: 455 14th St.</li><li>Drill Time: 9:00 am - 11:30 am</li></ul><p><br />Check out the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/GaTechCERT">CERT Facebook page</a> for pictures from previous drills!<br /><br />Please reply to <a href="mailto:gtcert@police.gatech.edu%20">gtcert@police.gatech.edu </a>if you would you would like to sign up for training or if you have any questions.</p>]]></body>
