  <body><![CDATA[<p>Several INTA PhD Students have recently been awarded opportunities and awards: Yujia Hepan, Deji Fajebe, and Diane Alleva Caceres.</p><p><strong><a href="http://www.inta.gatech.edu/content/yujia-he">Yujia He</a>:</strong> 2012 George Washington University Center for International Business and Education Research (CIBER) Summer Doctoral Institute.</p><p><strong><a href="http://www.inta.gatech.edu/content/ayodeji-fajebe">Deji Fajebe</a>:</strong> 2012 George Washington University Center for International Business and Education Research (CIBER) Summer Doctoral Institute</p><p><strong><a href="http://www.inta.gatech.edu/content/diane-alleva-caceres">Diane Alleva Caceres</a>:</strong> 2011-12 Canadian Studies Doctoral Student Research Award (Dissertation Grant)</p><p>The <a href="http://business.gwu.edu/CIBER/studentactivities/sdihome.cfm">2012 George Washington University Center for International Business and Education Research (CIBER) Summer Doctoral Institute.</a> -- Students will learn from renowned professors in your field of study. Network with peers from around the world. Grow as a researcher and creator of knowledge. In the Summer 2012, seven to ten doctoral students will be selected to participate in the prestigious GW-CIBER Summer Doctoral Institute for Research and Study onInstitutions, the State, &amp; Development in International Business. Spend your summer conducting research in the nation’s capital, home to many of the world’s most influential institutions. This cross-disciplinary program will facilitate research related to the above theme from the perspective of a broad range of social sciences, but relevant to the discipline of International Business.</p><p>The <a href="http://www.iccs-ciec.ca/doctoral-student-research.php">2011-12 Canadian Studies Doctoral Student Research Award (Dissertation Grant)</a>-- This program is designed to assist full-time graduate students at degree-granting institutions of higher education, whose dissertations are related in substantial part to Canada, to undertake doctoral research about Canada. The purpose is to increase knowledge and understanding of Canada and to support the development of Canadian Studies. The award provides assistance towards international airfare and a monthly flat rate allowance for up to a maximum of 6 months spent in Canada while doing research. <em>Ms. Alleva Caceres's research will explore governance, industrial policy and emerging industries. Canada will be one of 2-3 country cases that she will examine and compare in her doctoral research. </em></p>]]></body>
