In the Summer 2012, seven to ten doctoral students will be selected to participate in the prestigious GW-CIBER Summer Doctoral Institute for Research and Study onInstitutions, the State, \u0026amp; Development in International Business. Spend your summer conducting research in the nation\u2019s capital, home to many of the world\u2019s most influential institutions. This cross-disciplinary program will facilitate research related to the above theme from the perspective of a broad range of social sciences, but relevant to the discipline of International Business.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.iccs-ciec.ca\/doctoral-student-research.php\u0022\u003E2011-12 Canadian Studies Doctoral Student Research Award (Dissertation Grant)\u003C\/a\u003E-- This program is designed to assist full-time graduate students at degree-granting institutions of higher education, whose dissertations are related in substantial part to Canada, to undertake doctoral research about Canada. The purpose is to increase knowledge and understanding of Canada and to support the development of Canadian Studies. The award provides assistance towards international airfare and a monthly flat rate allowance for up to a maximum of 6 months spent in Canada while doing research. \u003Cem\u003EMs. Alleva Caceres\u0027s research will explore governance, industrial policy and emerging industries.
