Dr. Chris Way is an Associate Professor of Government at Cornell University. Dr. Way has made innovative contributions to the analysis of nuclear weapons proliferation by applying quantitative methods to an area of study that has been dominated by qualitative assessments. He adds to this body of work in "Making it Personal", which examines the effect of the regime variable on a state's likelihood to seek and acquire nuclear weapons (please see attached paper). Dr. Way's additional research interests include US-Japan relations, the effect of electoral cycles on policymaking and the political economy of OECD countries.
