Dr. Way\n has made innovative\n        contributions to the analysis of nuclear weapons proliferation \nby applying quantitative methods to an area of study that has been \ndominated by qualitative assessments. He adds to this body of work in \n\u0022Making it Personal\u0022, which examines the effect of the regime variable \non a state\u0027s likelihood to seek and acquire nuclear weapons (please see attached paper).\n Dr. Way\u0027s additional        research interests include US-Japan \nrelations, the effect of electoral cycles on policymaking and the \npolitical economy of OECD countries.
