  <body><![CDATA[<p>The IMPACT Speaker Series is pleased to host <strong>Daryl Dulaney </strong>on <strong>Wednesday, February 29</strong>. Dulaney is
president and CEO of Siemens Industry, a multi-billion dollar entity that is comprised of the Siemens Infrastructure &amp; Cities Sector and the Siemens Industry Sector. On Wednesday, he will speak to students, faculty, staff and community members about <strong>the importance of sustainable infrastructure to the competitiveness of American cities.</strong></p>

<p><em>More about the Speaker</em></p><p>As
president and CEO, Daryl Dulaney is responsible for executive management of Siemens
Industry, a multi-billion dollar entity with 22,000 employees. Dulaney also
serves as CEO of the Infrastructure &amp; Cities (IC) Sector in North America,
which is focused on providing answers for aging urban infrastructure. </p>



<p>Previously,
Dulaney was the U.S. CEO of Siemens Building Technologies, a premier provider
of energy and environmental solutions, building controls and fire safety and
security systems. Dulaney joined Building Technologies as a sales engineer in
1979. He has held several key managerial positions throughout his career,
ranging from joint venture management in Hong Kong to senior vice president of
field operations, North America. </p>



<p>Dulaney
is a board member of the Siemens Foundation, which provides more than $4.5
million annually in grants and other financial support towards science,
technology, engineering and math education initiatives. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>About the Impact Speaker Series</em></p>

<p>Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business
leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and
give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from
"building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful
entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible
leadership". The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni and
the Atlanta business community an opportunity to network and learn from
successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and
non-profit leaders. Events for the series take place in the LeCraw Auditorium
in the College of Management building at 4:30 pm on Wednesdays unless otherwise
noted. <strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>The series is free and open to the public, and reservations are not
required.</strong></p>
