Prof. Larry DeLucas, former astronaut and current Director of University of Alabama Birmingham's Center for Biophysical Sciences and Engineering was selected by the faculty as the inaugural speaker. Prof. DeLucas' talk will take place on March 18, 2010 at 11:00am in MoS&E 3201A. The talk will be on "A Novel Method for Improving Protein Solubility and Physical Stability". A lunch reception on the 3rd floor atrium, sponsored by VWR International follows the talk. The School of Biology is grateful to VWR International for their continued support of the seminar series.
