Wright Award.  This award is presented by National AMSA to a chapter exemplifying excellence in local activities, events, and leadership. This award comes with a cash prize which will be used to fund an upcoming conference, a local AMSA scholarship (application to be released soon), and an end of the year banquet. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThis award is well-deserved. Recently, the Georgia Tech AMSA chapter created a mentorship program for entering freshmen and organized a medical mission trip to Peru, slated for spring break. In addition, on February 26th, GT AMSA will host its 5th annual pre-health conference.  Approximately 50 graduate schools will be present at the conference. The conference will also feature a keynote address by Congressman Phil Gingrey.  This conference is open to the entire campus.
