Kathy Woody Recipient of Graduate Fellowship

Kathy Woody, graduate student in Chemistry and Biochemistry, is the recipient of the ACS graduate fellowship in organic chemistry.

This 2009-2010 fellowship is funded by the American Chemical Society, Division of Organic Chemistry Graduate Fellowship by Organic Syntheses (the Nelson Leonard Fellowship).

This fellowship provides a stipend of $26,000 for the 2009-2010 academic year and $750 travel award. As part of this award, Kathy has been invited to present her research at the 2011 National Organic Symposium in June of 2011. Congratulations Kathy on this well deserved award!
