Primary tabs

Mark your calendar for Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, for GTRI's third Technical Seminar hosted by Jud Ready in EOSL titled “MAterials DEsign @ Georgia Tech (MADE@GT).” This event will feature Dr. Cyrus Wadia from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and will take place at the Georgia Tech Hotel in conjunction with President Bud Peterson’s national OSTP meeting on Advanced Manufacturing Partnership.

The MADE@GT seminar consists of 10 technical talks around a unifying theme of the “Materials Genome Initiative” (MGI), which is designed to drastically accelerate advanced material design and manufacture via modeling and simulation subsequently coupled with fabrication and characterization of the engineered materials

Attendees of both events will participate in a joint opening session at 9 a.m., followed at 10 by the Advanced Manufacturing Partnership panel discussion and the 11 a.m. MADE@GT/MGI technical seminars. Registration includes complimentary continental breakfast and lunch, as well as an invitation to the closing reception.
