Boren Awards Information Session (Undergraduate and Graduate Students) Monday, September 12, 2011, 5:00 – 6:00 PM Location: Student Center Crecent Room On Monday, September 12, a representative from the Washington, D.C.-based Institute of International Education will be speaking with interested students about the Boren Awards for International Study. Boren Scholarships and Fellowships provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to add an important international and language component to their educations. The program focuses on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study that are critical to U.S. national security, broadly defined, and underrepresented in study abroad. Undergraduate Boren Scholars are awarded up to $20,000 for an academic year and Boren Fellows are awarded up to $30,000 for two academic years.
