On Saturday, November 5, 2011, the Consulate General of France in Atlanta, the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, and the College of Architecture at Georgia Tech, will host a symposium on the banlieues of Paris and the inner suburbs of Atlanta, two suburban conditions that have much to teach us through a comparison of how they are conceived, perceived, and lived.
