CoC Team Wins Funding for Research into Early Diagnosis of ASD

Distinguished Professor Gregory Abowd, Associate Professor JamesRehg, and Senior Research Scientist Rosa Arriaga - all of the Schoolof Interactive Computing - have been awarded $50,000 in researchfunds by Microsoft Research for their work in developing behavioralimaging technologies to help in the early detection of AutisticSpectrum Disorders (ASD). They are working to develop an automatedsystem for searching and coding video of social interaction studies.
