Timothy Snyder on Russia and Ukraine: The Origins of the Crisis

Co-sponsored by the Russian, East European, and Euroasian Studies Program (REEES) at Emory University and Georgia Tech's Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, School of History and Sociology, and School of Modern Languages. 

With guest speaker Timothy Snyder, Richard C. Levin Professor of History at Yale University and permanent fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna. Snyder is the author of ten books on Russian and Ukrainian history including Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin (2010) and The Road to Unfreedom: Russia, Europe, and America (2018).
