Fulbright Information Session for Students

Primary tabs

The Georgia Tech Fellowships Office will hold an information session for any student interested in the application process for Fulbright Scholarships. Tech students are encouraged to apply for Fulbright awards, available in 140 countries around the world. Through Fulbright, students may opt to perform research, complete a one-year degree program or serve as an English teaching assistant.

Presenters include:

  • Jennifer Munson, a doctoral student who held a 2009-10 Fulbright in Switzerland,
  • Dr. Phil McKnight, Campus Fulbright Committee Chair, and
  • Dr. Karen Adams, campus Fulbright advisor.

Faculty encouragement and assistance is integral for prospective Fulbright students. Students need a letter of invitation from the host institution, and faculty contacts can be helpful in receiving these letters. Faculty assistance in assessing where cutting-edge research is being performed also is needed as students explore Fulbright opportunities.

To learn more about the Fulbright and how to apply for this and other fellowships as a Tech student, visit fellowships.gatech.edu or make an appointment with Karen Adams, Interim Director, Fellowships Office.
