Spring 2020 Graduate: Braddon Calloway

Primary tabs

Growing up in Dalton, Georgia, Braddon Calloway saw firsthand how being in business could lead to success. There were numerous small businesses throughout the community that were thriving, as well as large corporations that were expanding globally. Calloway’s drive to start his own business is part of what led him to the Scheller College of Business.

His other reason is a little more personal. His father, Anthony Calloway, attended Georgia Tech as an undergraduate from 1969 - 1971, but did not complete his degree. Because of this, Braddon always had an affinity for Georgia Tech. Sadly, Calloway lost his father at  51-years-old. Now, 51 years after his father enrolled at Tech, Braddon Calloway will be receiving his Master of Business Administration.

“Some things are just meant to be, and I know that he is smiling down as I complete this journey for the both of us,” Calloway said.

Additionally, Scheller College of Business stood out to Calloway as a forward-thinking business school in terms of both curriculum and connection to Atlanta’s growing tech and business community.

“The location wasn’t bad either,” Calloway adds.

Calloway will be working at PNC Corporate & Institutional Banking as a Vice President in the Equipment Finance division located in Atlanta.
