Klein on Theft of Confidential Information

Primary tabs

In a Savannah Morning News article, School of Public Policy Associate Professor Hans Klein adds to a story about the theft of a hard drive from Armstrong Atlantic State University, which contained several hundred alumni's Social Security numbers. Klein says, "Theft of confidential information is happening more frequently and getting more difficult to prevent in today's 'connected' world." Klein cited the recent WikiLeaks publication of secret government files that had reportedly been downloaded onto a homemade music CD. "They say all the WikiLeaks information was on one Lady Gaga CD," he said. "There is nothing to it." Source: Savannah Morning News - December 30, 2010
