VOICE Peer Educators Application Deadline

The VOICE Peer Educators are a cohort of students who are committed to ending sexual violence on Georgia Tech's campus. They are extensively trained on sexual violence prevention topics such as defining consent, sexual violence prevention and bystander intervention, healthy relationships, and survivor support. Students will learn behavior change theory, effective public speaking, and curriculum development.

Requirements to be a VOICE peer educator includes:

  • Attend an initial mandatory training
  • Attend weekly meetings
  • Commit to approximately 8-10 hours per month to the program 
  • Attend additional trainings as necessary (approximately 2-3 per semester)
  • Give a minimum of 2 presentations per semester
  • Volunteer at a minimum of 2 events per semester for at least one hour
