Campus Center – Construction Impacts, Schedule – June 2019:

General:

*Construction truck traffic in this sector of campus.

*Construction Workers along Ferst Dr. near Whitehead Building and bus loop near ISYE – Please use caution

*Normal working hours 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Visitor Parking:

*Student Center Parking Deck has been reconfigured for visitors to utilize.  This is a credit card only deck.

Ductbank Crossing at Ferst:

*Utilities will be installed across Ferst Drive from 6/1/2019 – 6/21/19.

*Lane restrictions and/or lane shifts will occur on Ferst Dr, west of Regents Dr. impacting all vehicular traffic from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, daily.

*Alternating sidewalk closures will be required, beginning on the south side of Ferst, then changing to the north side as utility work progressing across Ferst Dr. in this area.

*Only one sidewalk will be closed at any one time. Pedestrians will be required to cross at the crosswalk to move past this area.

*Some manhole work and excavation work will occur to the west of the Health Services bldg. in the grassed island along Ferst Dr.

Phase I Bus Loop Reconfiguration

*The bus loop located at Ferst Drive adjacent to ISYE Main will be closed from 6/1 – 6/9/19.

*No service will be provided during this time.

*The drive loop and curb will be reshaped to accommodate the turning of emergency vehicles.  The bus shelter will be relocated while the bus loop is closed for reconfiguration  and will move down the hill in the vicinity of the relay bike station.

*On 6/10/19, bus service will resume with construction ongoing to reconfigure adjacent sidewalks.

Phase I Utilities

*Utilities will be installed in front of Ferst Center for the Arts 6/10/2019 – 7/28/2019.

* Fencing will be installed to provide barriers between construction activities.

*Pedestrian pathways approaching Ferst Center from ISYE lawn will be diverted. Way finding signage will be placed around this part of campus to provide alternate routes.

*ADA pathways will be maintained from the parking lot in front of Student Services to Ferst Center for the Arts.
