As of Tuesday, March 26, Dining Services has closed the North Avenue Dining facility until further notice.

The facility has faced maintenance issues in recent months and is closing to conduct more extensive repairs. Issues stem from a need to replace ceiling plumbing in a large area of the space.

“We realize the inconvenience this causes our students and customers,” said Carolina Amero, senior director of Auxiliary Services. “Food safety is our top priority, and the maintenance issues could no longer be deferred until a later date.”

Students who live or study on the east side of campus are encouraged to visit Brittain Dining, which will offer extended hours beginning immediately:

• Monday – Thursday:  7 a.m. to 1 a.m.  
• Friday: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.  
• Saturday: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Sunday: 8 a.m. to 1 a.m.
