Primary tabs

Abstract:

Dr. Banzhaf will provide an overview of the Atlanta Federal Statistical Research Data Center (FSRDC), one of 29 FSRDCs across the country.  The Atlanta FSRDC provides access to numerous internal government-sponsored datasets, including restricted-use versions of the American Community Survey and Decennial Census, the Economic Census, UMetrics data, the Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries, and many other economic and demographic datasets.  With a special focus on projects of interest to statistical researchers, Dr. Banzhaf will explain the advantages of using restricted data, the process for developing a successful proposal to use the data, and the logistics of conducting research in the Atlanta FSRDC.  For more information, please contact melissa.r.banzhaf@census.gov or visit the FSRDC website: https://www.census.gov/fsrdc.
