Employee Well-Being Activators Wanted!

Primary tabs

Are you a Georgia Tech employee interested in bringing health and well-being programming to your department? Health Initiatives (HI) is currently recruiting faculty and staff to become Well-Being Activators for the spring 2019 semester!

Employee well-being activators are ambassadors and champions of well-being within the Georgia Tech community. Activators serve as role models within their respective groups or departments, inspiring others to flourish and thrive. They serve as a well-being conduit relaying information about events and programming to their peers.

“Activators are the ‘first to know’ about the latest health and well-being happenings on campus,” said Health Initiatives’ Health Educator Jocelyn Resnick. “Those who are selected will gain a variety of skills related to leadership, well-being, and fostering healthy behavior change that is not only relevant to their everyday lives but transferable into their future professional goals.”

Employee well-being activators spend 3-4 hours each month hosting programs, leading healthy challenges, and integrating well-being into their office. Applications are currently open and reviewed on a rolling basis. It is highly recommended that every campus department have at least one activator. You can find a full list of current activators as well as the application at healthinitiatives.gatech.edu/wba.
