4 Reasons Why You Should Compete in the Navy SEAL Challenge!

Primary tabs

The Navy’s Sea, Air, and Land Forces – commonly known as SEALs – undergo intense training to become part of this elite military force. This training focuses on strength and endurance with only about 1 percent who enter SEAL training completing it. See how you compare to America’s best at the Campus Recreation (CRC) Navy Seal Challenge on Thursday, October 4th. Register today at mycrc.gatech.edu.

Before you talk yourself out of participating remember these four reasons why you should give this challenge a try!

Leave Your Wallet at Home!

To participate in the Navy SEAL Challenge, you won’t drop a dime. The Navy Seal Challenge is free for everyone, so you can focus on your gains instead of your wallet pains.

Test your Limits in Five Different Events.

The entire challenge includes a series of five events to test your inner Navy SEAL. You will be challenged in push-ups, pull-ups sit-ups, a 500-yard swim, and a 1.5-mile run. If you want some insight into the competition check out our training tips here.

There will be Prizes!!

Competitors that complete all five events will be entered into a raffle to win prizes that are worth up to $100.  The first 200 people to complete at least three of the five stations will receive a free dri-fit t-shirt.

There’s Nothing to Lose!

“You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take,” – Wayne Gretzky. Don’t be your own worst obstacle and stand in the way of greatness. This event is challenging but will leave you feeling accomplished and proud, plus you’ll see if you have what it takes to be a Navy SEAL!

All pre-registered participants will receive a Fast Pass for each station. On-site Registration and Check-In will close at 1:30 pm for the first session and 6:00 pm for the second session to allow participants to complete all stations.
