Parking and Transit for Career Fair: Sept. 17-18

A NOTE FROM THE CENTER FOR CAREER DISCOVER AND DEVELOPMENT (C2D2): 

Georgia Tech Center of Career Discovery and Development (C2D2) hosts its Annual Career Fair Monday, September 17 and Tuesday, September 18 at the CRC. The Annual Career Fair is the largest student-led Career Fair in the Southeast and will attract over 200+ global companies with over 1,000 recruiters each day, many Georgia Tech Alums. We ask that you please take advantage of public transportation and be mindful of these guests who are here to recruit our top talent! We really appreciate your support of Georgia Tech students and this event.

PARKING ACCOMMODATIONS

 

Career fair recruiters and vendors will park in W10-CRC parking deck, W06-Tech Parkway/Marietta Street and Visitors Area 3 on September 17 and 18.   

 

W10 Customers: Please remove your vehicles from the W10 parking deck by 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 16. You are welcome to park in the following locations during this event:

-W02: Student Center deck

-W21: Physics/Boggs lots

-Any ungated, nonresidential parking lot (E or W lots)

Please be sure your permit is displayed properly. Access will be added to your BuzzCards or Carpool Permit for gated locations.

 

W02 and W06 Customers: You do not have to move your vehicles for this event. However, there will be uncommon congestion in these parking locations. If you cannot find a parking space in your assigned area, you are welcome to park in the following locations:

-W21: Physics/Boggs lots

-Any ungated, nonresidential parking lot (E or W lots)

Please be sure your permit is displayed properly. Access will be added to your BuzzCards or Carpool Permit for gated locations.

 

SmartPark Customers: SmartPark access will be suspended for the Area 3 visitors lot on these dates. You are welcome to park in W23, E81 or Area 1 using your SmartPark access. 

 

All “W” and “WR” Annual and Carpool Permit Customers:  Any West Campus Annual Individual or Carpool permit customer who cannot find a space in their assigned location may park in any ungated, nonresidential parking lot (E or W lots, except E44). Please be sure your permit is displayed properly.

 

W02 and W10 Evening Weekend Permit Customers: You are welcome to park in your assigned location as space allows. If you cannot find a space in your assigned location, you may park in any ungated nonresidential parking area (except E44) using your Evening Weekend Permit. Please be sure your permit is displayed properly.

 

NOTE: Students, to avoid heavy traffic, we encourage you to walk or use campus transit when traveling to the Career Fair. Tech Trolley and Stinger stops are located conveniently near the Campus Recreation Center. Also, due to the large number of attendees and recruiters, Trolleys and Stingers are expected to be congested.  

 

Normal conditions should resume Tuesday, September 18 at 6:00 p.m.
