Primary tabs

Students, find your next fall job at the Campus Recreation Complex (CRC). Marketing, personal trainers, climbing wall attendants we have it all! Applications are now open and priority registration closes July 20th all candidates selected for interviews will be contacted by August 10th. Incoming students, current undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.

The CRC provides jobs that offer students the chance to work face-to-face with patrons, learning valuable customer service skills, or on the backend, where students can put their engineering skills to the test in facility operations. Students make up over 300 positions at the CRC in a variety of roles to keep the state-of-the-art facility running over 115 hours every week. Every aspect of the CRC is enriched by student staff members. These students are the cornerstone of community relations at the CRC. Find out what it means to be a part of the CRC family from some of our very own student staff.

Gennavera Gannon, Lifeguard Manager in the CRC Aquatic Center, was able to take her passion for swimming and turn it into a job at the CRC. Gannon said,“Working at the CRC teaches you accountability and great communication with colleagues, hands down! Both the patrons and the lifeguards I lead depend on my ability to make decisions and be level-headed, and I rely on them to do the same and make sure the pool areas are kept safe for everyone.” The CRC provides a convenient opportunity to learn applicable skills you can use in your post-college career.

The CRC provides opportunities to challenge yourself and work closely with full-time staff. CRC Marketing Assistant, Haley Dabbs said, “In my position, I get to do a ton of design work, and there aren’t many regular opportunities to do that at Tech…it’s easy to work closely with my supervisors to build on my skillsets in graphic design and writing. I feel comfortable approaching them; they are very supportive in giving me a chance to take on projects that I’m most interested in. I’m also consistently challenged to grow and explore assignments I have never been exposed to before. Being in this role has definitely widened my range of knowledge in media and communications.”
