Welcome back MSE and PFE Students

To celebrate the exciting merger of MSE and PFE under the School of Materials Science and Engineering, we’d like to invite you to our Fall Social on Thurs., September 2 from

11 am – 1 pm in the Burdell Plaza, outside of the J. Erskine Love Building.  After a brief welcome and merger announcements, students will enjoy lunch and the opportunity to meet and mingle with their classmates.  Representatives from our student organizations will be on hand to recruit new members. 

We are setting up an RSVP system and will email you shortly with instructions.  Participants will need to RSVP!!  Upon arriving at the Social, those who have signed up will receive tickets, redeemable for meals and door prizes.  In the event of inclement weather, the Social will be held on the second, and third floor atriums of the Love Building.

We look forward to officially welcoming you back to campus and to joining our degree programs into the largest and most diverse, nationally ranked MSE School in the country.

In order to allow for adequate food planning, all attendees MUST RSVP by Monday, August 30.  On the day of the social, you will be issued a ticket, redeemable for lunch and for door prizes.  If you will join us, please let us know via this website:
