Canvas Training by Instructor on April 19th. 

Who should attend? Georgia Tech Faculty, Staff and TA's that have questions about building courses in the Canvas Learning Management System.

Session 1 (9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.) - Assignments and Grading

Participants will learn how to use all of the features of the Canvas Assignment tool, and how to leverage the grading and gradebook tools within the Canvas environment.

Session 2 (10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) - Quizzes and Question Banks

This session is intended for those faculty who want to learn how to use the Quizzing tool in Canvas for homework, assessment, quizzes, and/or tests.

Session 3 (12:00 p.m. - 02:00 p.m.) - Canvas 101

This session is intended for those faculty who want to learn the basics of Canvas, and who would like to begin to build a course in Canvas. We will highlight not only how to build it, but also share best practices for use in courses.

Session 4 (02:00 p.m. - 04:00 p.m.) - More Canvas 201

This session is specifically designed for those participants who have attended Canvas training either in November or during this training engagement. We will go deeper into some of the following Canvas tools. There is also time built into this session to allow for participants to build and get one-on-one advice and help or to have their course reviewed.
