GTSF Check Presentation to Haiti Relay Research Team

The Opportunity Research Scholars (ORS) Haiti Relay Team has been awarded a Georgia Tech Student Foundation (GTSF) award to support their project to install solar power devices for Haitians living in the rural area of Thoman, Haiti. The devices will provide reliable sources of power to Haitians currently living without. A check for $3955.61 will be presented to the team at a ceremony during the March 1 men's basketball game against North Carolina State. The award will cover materials and supplies needed to build 25 devices that will be installed in May of 2018.
