Green Awareness 5K Run/Walk

The Greater atlanta homebuilders association and the Georgia Tech School of Building Construction have teamed up for a Green Awareness 5K Run/Walk. A portion of the proceeds will benefit HomeAid Atlanta, a nonprofit organization that builds and renovates transitional housing facilities that serve homeless families and individuals in metro Atlanta.

Awards and prizes for First and Second Place winners will be given immediately following the races. Age Groups: 14 and younger, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and older.

Take advantage of the "Going Green" informational areas, and stick around for refreshments and giveaways!

Parking: Klaus Advanced Computing Building Parking Deck
Race Day Check-In: 7 a.m.
Race Begins: 8 a.m.
Before Aug. 27: $20 adults, $12 students
After Aug. 27: $25 adults, $15 students
On-site registration: $35 adults, $15 students
Only cash accepted for on-site payment.
All participating children under age 12 are free.

All children are welcome! Captain Planet will be on hand with prizes and photo opportunities.

Don't forget to pick up your race t-shirt at check-in.
