Franklin Road Academy Faculty Fellows Program application deadline

Primary tabs

The Franklin Road Academy Faculty Fellows Program in Nashville, TN is designed for graduating seniors who may be interested in pursuing teaching or coaching opportunities at the middle or high school level in independent schools. Franklin Roads believes that a program that includes grading, planning, management, and communication—is the best training for an aspiring teacher. For many new teachers, starting with a full course load and planning load can be overwhelming. The immense amount of time planning and grading can crowd out time to reflect and learn.

The fellows program is designed to give one year of training and guided teaching experience to aspiring independent school educators. This experience will provide a unique opportunity to learn from dedicated, experienced teachers while having time each day leading classes and co-curricular activities. The program is built on a partnership with a master teacher, one who hosts the fellow in his or her classroom and provides regular feedback and coaching on the two classes that fellows teach. Fellows also attend a free bi-weekly seminar taught by local university faculty.

Interested candidates should visit www.franklinroadacademy.com/facultyfellows for more information and applications. The application deadline for 2018-2019 is February 16th.

Franklin Road Academy is an independent, inclusive Christian school.
