IMPACT Presents: Kerry Schrader & Ashlee Ammons, Mixtroz

Please join the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship for a talk from Kerry Schrader and Ashlee Ammons, the respective CEO and COO of the technology based networking company Mixtroz.

Kerry and Ashlee are a dynamic minority Mother/Daughter duo, who are in the new wave of entrepreneurs that re-imagining daily life, creating services that make work and play simpler, better, and more satisfying. Ashlee is a former NYC director of events and Kerry is a former HR executive at Alcoa. Together, they reached the conclusion to make networking at events less awkward and more meaningful for both attendees and sponsors. Their app, Mixtroz, has received raving reviews for increasing connections in academic, business, and social events and conferences. 

Since the birth of Mixtroz, the app has made headlines in Forbes, Inc., The Tennessean, and other publications. The Mixtroz team took home first in the Invio Solution pitch at the Creative Business Cup Global Finals. They are currently transitioning to Birmingham to be a part of Innovation Depot’s Velocity Accelerator, which will open many doors for further growth and funding. While neither Kerry nor Ashlee has a formal tech background, their tech startup is dominating the market and connecting the world one questionnaire at a time.

Kerry and Ashlee will speak at Georgia Tech's IMPACT Speaker Series on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.  

About the Impact Speaker Series:

Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from "building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible leadership". The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni and the Atlanta business community an opportunity to network and learn from successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit leaders. The lecture series is sponsored by the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship.

The series is free and open to the public, reservations are not required.
