Have you ever considered designing an assignment that requires students to produce videos such as short films or instructional videos? Are you looking for innovative ways to foster student communication skills and creativity? If so, then our workshop will be a great place to start.

Professionals will share their experiences designing and assessing video based projects and discuss the pedagogical benefits and best practices of using multimedia based assignments in higher education. Faculty speakers will share techniques for how they successfully integrated video-based assignments into their courses and share lessons learned. Participants will also enjoy a hands on opportunity to learn basic video editing skills, and review sample lesson plans & rubrics that can be adapted to a wide variety of disciplines.
