Harnessing TENG devices to improve mass spec

Georgia Tech researchers have harnessed triboelectric nanogenerators to improve the sensitivity of mass spectrometry, a widely-used chemical analysis technique. Shown are Anyin Li, a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Facundo Fernández, a professor in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Yunlong Zi, a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Materials Science and Engineering  (Credit: Rob Felt, Georgia Tech)
