Talking Race@Tech

This event invites students who recognize that race is a critical aspect of intellectual life at Georgia Tech to connect across community lines. Following a panel of student speakers, participants will have the opportunity to identify current issues in their classroom experiences and then work in groups to develop strategies for addressing them. 

Student speakers include: Raianna Brown (Industrial and Systems Engineering),Claire Chan (Economics and International Affairs), Kiran Rampersad (Industrial & Systems Engineering) Shivani Mehrotra (Biomedical Engineering) Itzel Trejo (Mechanical Engineering), and Jared Williams (Industrial Engineering)

Featuring a panel of student leaders, this event will help students from a variety of backgrounds to navigate difficult conversations about race at Tech, find systems of support, and enact change in their immediate community.
