Undergraduate Darby Foster's work recently featured in Visualizing English Print

Darby Foster, a first-year student in the Scheller College of Business, published a guest post, “Data Mining King Lear,” in Visualizing English Print, a Mellon-funded project that brings together literary scholars and computer scientists. Darby experimented with computational analysis to argue that King Lear is Shakespeare’s “most tragic tragedy.”  
Darby is majoring in Business Administration/Information Technology Management and wrote the article in 2016 as part of her study of “Shakespeare and Law" (in English 1102, part of Georgia Tech’s Writing and Communication Program) with Dr. Sarah HiginbothamVEP group member Heather Froehlich helped Darby edit and adapt her work for the post.
