Responsible Technologies Summit
November 10, 2009
Technology Square Research Center, Georgia Tech

The Responsible Technologies Summit is a regional summit hosted by the Georgia Tech Business Network (www.gtbn.org) and ENFORM (www.enform.info) for regional thought leaders, businesses, and practitioners committed to a responsible, competitive regional economy. To achieve energy independence our country, region and businesses will require greater interdependence. The Southeast region has significant opportunities to embrace renewable energy, particularly biomass and solar, to bolster our joint competitiveness. Responsible technologies that maintain healthy ecosystem services are key to our individual and collective success. Policy analysts, researchers and solution providers who are active in the national dialogue on climate change and renewable energy will present the strategic framework and clean tech solutions business leaders require to move forward as more sustainable businesses connected through an industrial ecosystem. The Summit builds on the previous work of ENFORM (www.enform.info), the metro Atlanta region’s business forum on sustainability, and extends it to address today’s economic environment. This regional Summit is designed specifically for executives seeking responsible technologies and collaborators for long range planning.

Regional business leaders (SVPs operations, manufacturing, R&D, chief sustainability officers, chief technology officers, chief marketing officers) who are committed to a more sustainable path for their company and are responsible for developing relationships and identifying appropriate technologies for long range planning and capital expenditures.
