The Driver’s Seat website (driverseat.gatech.edu) will be upgraded on Friday, December 9, 2016 starting at 4:00 p.m.

During the upgrade, permit purchases, citation payments, citation appeals, wait lists and account management will not be available. Customers who need to purchase permits or pay for citations may do so in the PTS office on Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Features of the new Driver’s Seat website include:

• The ability to add phone numbers to parking accounts, which allow the PTS office to contact permit customers before towing and in case of safety issues concerning their vehicles;
• The ability to manage email addresses;
• A mobile-friendly layout, which allows for account management using smartphones or tablets;
• A more secure site which offers GT’s two-factor login for current participants;
• And a new interface that allows for a more simplified permit purchasing process, citation payments and account management.

Previous features (online permit and citation payments, citation appeals, wait list management, account management and carpool applications) will remain available on the upgraded site.
