PSA will showcase the rich culture and heritage of Pakistan in Saqafat '16

In Urdu language, 'Saqafat' (pronounced sə-kä-fət) means 'culture'. It expresses the way in which all the culturally diverse ethnic groups in Pakistan blend together to represent what the country truly stands for.

PSA invites the whole GT community to experience the Pakistani culture, taste the cuisine, and enjoy the ambiance as performers enthrall the audience with live music, anecdotes from folk lore and history. The event will include performances from Pakistani students on songs and cultural folk dances. The academic part of the event will focus on presentations about the importance, culture and diversity of Pakistan.

We will also have a Cultural Corner displaying the traditional dresses traditional dress for both men and women. Stalls of henna designers, colorful bangles and Urdu caligraphy will make your experience much more enriching. 

So bring yourself and your best friends for a memorable evening brimming with delicious food and 'eargasmic' music.
