Join renowned urbanist Jonathan F.P. Rose for a special book discussion and signing event in celebration of the release of his new work, The Well-Tempered City: What Modern Science, Ancient Civilizations, and Human Nature Teach Us About the Future of Urban Life.
The event will take place on Tuesday, October 18, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Georgia Tech School of Design Auditorium.
Jonathan's book distils a lifetime of interdisciplinary research and firsthand experience into a five-pronged model for designing and reshaping cities with the goal of equalizing their landscape of opportunity. "The Well-Tempered City" explores environmental, economic and social challenges of the twenty-first century, and offers a well-reasoned, hopeful blueprint for a thriving metropolis—and the future.
The discussion will be moderated by Executive Director of ULI Atlanta, Sarah Kirsch.
