Phylogeny for ASR benchmarking

Phylogeny for ASR benchmarking

Researcher Ryan Randall created a phylogeny, a gene family tree, by causing a fluorescing protein to mutate rapidly in the lab. As the protein mutated, it changed colors, resulting in a rainbow of "leaves" in the phylogeny. Credit: Georgia Tech / Ryan Randall
