Hispanic Students Sought for Undergraduate Recruitment

Primary tabs

The Office of Undergraduate Admission is seeking current undergraduates to help in recruiting Hispanic students to Georgia Tech.

Applications are now open for the Hispanic Recruitment Team (HRT), a group that works closely with Undergraduate Admission. Team members play an important role in the recruitment process by helping prospective Hispanic students connect with students on campus who can share stories about life at Tech.

“Being part of HRT has motivated me to become a better student and show future generations that dreams are possible,” said Sergio Sandoval, president of HRT. “By sharing personal experiences, our members have the opportunity to have an impact on students’ lives. Georgia Tech has great things to offer and we are excited to share those experiences.”

HRT members participate in three to four events per semester, including tailgates and other socials with prospective students, mingling with visitors in the Admission office, and phone and email campaigns.

The deadline to apply is Sunday, Sept. 4. Students who are interested in sharing their time and Tech spirit should contact Kevin Gonzalez at kevin.gonzalez@admission.gatech.edu.
