Greg Woead: The Backseat of My Car (and other safe places)

Primary tabs

You get in the passenger seat of the car. Greg is already in the driver’s seat. Greg puts on a pair of thick-rimmed glasses. He asks you to put on a wig and says “You be Cathy and I’ll be me. Only it’s 1998, we’re 16 years old and we’re in Mesquite, Texas.”  Thisone-to-one performance that takes place in a parked car is a gently interactive storytelling piece about closeness, danger, and intimacy through the lens of our teenage selves.

Show times vary.  For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the Box Office in the Ferst Center, call 404-894-9600, or visit arts.gatech.edu.

Georgia Tech students, staff, and faculty receive discounts on tickets. New this year are discounted season tickets for students, staff, and faculty, which are on sale now, in person at the Ferst Center Box Office.  Tickets to individual shows go on sale August 9.
