Healthy Environments and Active Lifestyles Open House

The Aware Home Research Initiative (AHRI), The Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA), the Mobility, Wireless, and Workplace Accommodations Rehabilitation Engineering Research Centers (RERCs), Design and Technology for Healthy Aging Initiative (DATHA) and the interdisciplinary Happy Healthy Home class (CoA 8843, CS 8803) invite you to an evening open house event: Healthy Environments and Active Lifestyles (www.HEALatGT.org) on the Georgia Tech campus.

This multi-center open-house event, featuring interdisciplinary and collaborative programs with researchers from College of Architecture, College of Computing, College of Engineering, College of Science, GVU Center, Health Systems Institute, Ivan Allen College, and The Shepherd Center will provide the opportunity to see past and current work, meet faculty, researchers and students, and view demonstrations of Georgia Tech projects focused on design and technologies to promote health, activity and participation of people of all abilities and ages.

Where: Georgia Tech Campus at Hemphill and 10th St.

The following buildings at Georgia Tech will be involved in the event:

  • Aware Home, 479 10th Street (House at Northwest Corner 10th and Center St.)
  • CATEA, 490 10th Street (Church at SE Corner, 10th and Hemphill)
  • Institute of Paper Science and Technology (IPST) Cafeteria, 500 10th Street (SW Corner, 10th and Hemphill)

Parking is available off 10th Street in the W32 lots (Aware Home and CATEA) and W31 lot (IPST)
