Bio
A U.S. Army veteran, retiring as a lieutenant colonel in 1995, Robert Waters is a senior lecturer with the Division of Computing Instruction in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research focuses on software architecture recovery from legacy systems. Waters received a master’s degree and a doctorate from Georgia Tech. Prior to hs graduate studies, he attended the Army Command and General Staff College, Army Management Staff College and U.S. Naval Test Pilot School. Waters teaches the capstone design courses and the core computer science curriculum.
