ASME 2016 Student Professional Development Conference

The 2016 Southeast Regional Student Professional Development Conference (SPDC) is hosted by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers chapter at Georgia Tech on March 11-12. With the theme of "Geared for Success," the conference will showcase student talent and provide networking and professional development opportunities through student competitions, presentations from academia and industry professionals, socials, and a career fair.

Schedule: 

  • 7 - 9 am: Breakfast and Check-In 
  • 9 am - noon: Old Guard Oral Presentation Competition; Old Guard Technical Poster Competition; and Professional Development Presentation and Workshops
  • noon - 1 pm: Lunch
  • 11 am - 2 pm: Career Fair
  • 1 - 4 pm: Student Design Competition
  • 6 - 8 pm: Banquet Awards Ceremony
