Fortune Magazine has identified a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction as #4 in its recent list of top graduate degrees for jobs based on such factors as long-term outlook for job growth, median salaries mid-career or at 10 years in, and job satisfaction scores. The survey, based on data from the career site, PayScale, identified MS-HCI degree holders as having high salaries, low stress, and high job satisfaction. Plus, the growth in new UX/HCI jobs is expected to expand by over 17% by 2022.

Georgia Tech’s MS-HCI Program, one of the oldest MS-HCI Programs, has graduated over 370 students since its inception. It is consistently identified as one of the top two or three such programs in the world. The program has steadily grown over the years, with almost 100 students currently enrolled. Students enter the program through one of four schools at Georgia Tech: Interactive Computing; Industrial Design; Literature, Media, and Culture (Digital Media); and Psychology.

Admission to the program has become highly selective, with applications for August entry into the program (Fall semester) due by the beginning of February each year.
